Mobile | To bookmark or not to bookmark

by Val Vladescu on November 3, 2009

Here’s the larger context: I’m always on the run keeping my Twitter Android client open. Now although Android’s Webkit based browser does an excellent job in rendering most of the websites out there, there’s some moments when a larger screen is needed.
What I’d enjoy would be having the opportunity to bookmark the links AND get notified about them at a better time (e.g. a particular hour, or by the time I send the first tweet from a PC/MAC desktop client)
You will say there’s always the option to favorite the tweet, but in a GTD context I’d miss the reminder. Besides it’s hard to favorite something I haven’t deeply checked out.
So my question is : would you use this option if you had it integrated in your favorite twitter mobile client?

  • Hm...I don't like the notification part. Unless it's something urgent, I'm not in favor of notifications, as these requires energy on my side to act upon them.

I like to be able to easily bookmark from my twitter client as "read later" ("favourites" is not good).
