Today I received a package that was sent for me from Czech Republic.
Inside the envelope there was a letter of apology stamped and signed by the local representative stating that the envelope arrived damaged in the possession of Bucharest branch and they have intentionally resealed it in a protective case to prevent further damage. All that free of charge!
Fortunately, the content was unharmed in the first place but I really see a very good deed in their actions! As communistic and careless these guys were 1 or 2 years ago, this action is the proof that change is possible even in those environments.
As I side note, my mum, who just seems to know a lot of people in my native town, told me the lady whose signature was on the paper is a 55 year older who spent most of her life in postal service!
